If you will remember- I got Mark a grill for his birthday. Much to my satisfaction (of getting Mark something he really likes) he/we have used the grill numerous times already. We've cooked hamburgers, hot dogs, steaks, pork chops, and other delicious meats. This past Sunday me and Mark decided that we would experiment a little by making some burgers that sounded good in "theory." We took hamburger meat and essentially spread it out over an entire plate sized area. Then we proceeded to put a slice of cheese in the middle, followed by a few pieces of bacon, followed by another slice of cheese. We then folded up the burgers and tried out best to "pat" the meat together so that it would not split open on the grill. The burgers turned out to be monsterous in size... (see below).
We also decided to grill up a few pieces of corn (after soaking them in water for about 15-20 minutes). HAPPILY, the burgers and the corn turned out to be fricking delicious (and huge). Look below to see the final product of the burgers! We also discovered that grilled corn really is quite yummy... it gives it a much better taste than when you boil it.
Anyway, I just wanted to let everyone know that taking mild risks and experimenting are fun and tasty. :-) Happy summer days! Woot woot!

You really think grilled corn is better than regular corn on the cob? I might have to try it!!
